I have the same feeling too, you don't need to go any further than the first page: his preview Hands-on with Nokia N96 in the top right corner and Review of GSM/UMTS-smartphone Nokia N78, S60 3rd edition Feature Pack 2 and Samsung G810 - new flagship reviews in the top left corner of mobile-review home page have been there for quite some time now.

I don't think that all this advertising comes for free and I'm almost certain that he received some money from Nokia and Samsung, the only question is how much. Not little I guess, but then again he has to make a living somehow so I don't blame him. Just don't take his biased reviews too seriously, trust yourself and your experience with SE. I had been using the N95 until a few weeks ago when I bought my current phone P1 and I'm so much more happy and satisfied now with this SE phone than I was with the N95. Just think for yourself and don't take Eldar's (p)reviews for granted.

I am a long time SE user and have used almost all the "P" series phones. Innovation stopped at SE during the P990, it was a brilliant design but was left half finished and SE had no problems letting it stay that way.
Show me one single SE device in the past 2 years that is truly innovative.
If P1 is supposed to be the successor of the P990 (which I do not accept but...) then it should build up on P990's features, not take away features and capabilities.
There is no excuse for the way the P990 and the K850 were shipped. I agree with Eldar in his reviews and it gives me hope yet if SE really does listen to what he's saying. It would only be to SE's advantage to learn about what they are doing wrong and try to correct it.
Just a thought, could it be that there are Nokia and Samsung reviews only because SE doesn't have a device that can compete with these? It's sad how SE has regressed in 2 years.

Agree. In their site they had promotional campaigne with LG - just an example.

I could not accept the same market behavior - "stamping as on conveyor" very similar models with different numbers, in case of SE to be bad, but in case of Nokia to be perfect.

Generally I could agree that SE stopped it's develpoment - for example UIQ.
Do you think there is nothing to improve and that is the cause P1 and G700/900 to be so similar - one year later?

Or the funny story with Xperia and HTC Diamond?
Is there normal person who would state: "Our device (X1) is premium one, so we put that high price and do not target high market share".
And this when Diamond is on the market since June?!!!
Yes, it hasn't QWERTY, but Diamond Pro is going.....

And who would rely on his rival to produce this high-tech device?

There are many questions about SE management.
But they are hard to answer.

Actually his reviews only confirm my opinion. You guys are not doing SE any favors by being the yes-man for everything they do. SE needs to be criticized so they can get back on track and start producing the innovative and leading edge products we've been missing for 2+ years.

Take for example a kid. If one keeps pon critisizing him, do you think he will improve?? I dont think so. I have seen only criticizm and no inspiration from the Likes oF Eldar. Hes acting more like a prick nowadays.

And yea, critisize SE..its fine. But cummon, do so with relevant facts atleast. The one regarding the C905 was gruesome. He completely blasted SE by saying that C905 uses a samsung sensor, when it actually uses a Sony Exmor sensor. Now you anti-SE fanboys.What do you have to say of that??

The he vented his anger on the Xperia by saying that its a piece of crap. Man.This man is indispensable.

We all made threads after threads about complain about our se phones but what is the result? Nothing. Cause SE doesn’t care his customer after sales the product. It’s really nice to have somebody talk about their quality nowadays in big sites. SE hasn’t offer anything good in last two years but other companies do. If you say, SE did some good job with their low end phone then I’ll tell you just compare these low end phone to others companies low end phones. If SE is good as it before then why the company lost huge dramatically sales profits in last two terms? Because people are now stop buying products from SE as much they did before. I don’t believe one model like Xperia will make turn on SE future. SE has to makes lots innovative and quality products these days.
I read elder all articles since 2003/2004 and never he makes me feel that he fever to some particular company.
