I know my K810's flash does. And yes, I have tested it numerous times.
Also, normal LED flashes can't "freeze" objects. That's why I'd never buy a phone with a normal LED flash. That feature it too important for me.

I think that mobile phones now have become so sophisticated that a simple mobile phone reviewer can't be a good judge of a camera or an music player,or a 3d game capability of the phone.
When it comes to the camera/picture quality etc,i will trust the review of a camera reviewer over a mobile phone reviewer...and same with music/game.

K810i light up a room? That must be some strange special edition K810i who atleast i never have tried or a really small room.
I have owned around 4 of them during the days and it really is an amazing phone, dont get me wrong here but the flash is a total joke compared to a "real" digicam.
Even the N82, K850i,6220c sucks at this compared to a cheap real cam and people most often look like ghosts or zombies on the photos.. Although much better than K810i.

i still remember those days when k500/k700 series made kick ass history for their 3d games when nokia and e rest are still stuck with their blocky shit.. and their white balance was leading.. and for those who know the s700i who kicked every manufacturer in the butt with a CCD sensor and spot metering on a fone..
den came the k750 who led the chase for better AF and LED flash.
the niche was den followed on by the k800/k810 with their slightly bigger sensor module, and rock stable a100 platform..
and den what happened? roll out shit fones like k850i and other a200 that are merely repeats of what they have done in e past.. add some feature, leave some out, change a new cover and market it as a new phone.. seriously they can do better than that? the k850i is the worse and most unstable SE phone i've ever used.. i used to laugh at how samsung and LG phones have restarts so often and owners having to frequent service centres, and now I HAVE TO DO IT. all thanks to SE.
and the c905, i don't have much hopes.. it seems like another case of ramping up the pixels by dividing the same sensor into smaller areas, that's really not going to help make it a cybershot..
now i can see why there are rumours of sony and ericsson parting since the SE partnership is ruining sony's niche products..
and to those who wish to flame me, i own all the fones i listed above. i'm now stuck on a k850i, and i think it might probably be my last SE. sorry, i used to be a fanboy, but i'm seriously sick of the way they do marketing and cheat their once loyal fanbase. shame on you SE.

On the other hand a xenon flash is instantaneous so it can't be used to light up a scene for a longer time the way a LED flash can, like when using the LED flash in night mode on my K770i.

i was talking about how eldar is missleading the ppl by using old prototype device, and compared with finished device.
and he say that again SE messed up..
and ppl as i can see, SOME ppl agreed on wat he said, and forgot that there r many newer hardware and software than wat eldar has..
so , we dont wanna talk how SE is not listening, or the marketing or anything else..
all wat i say, even when SE is doing something good, some reviews
and some ppl still wanna kill wat they r doing, and ruin the image of SE, even if they dont mean too, but this wat happened with Eldar, many ppl believe in wat he says blindly. so imagine wat they will think when they read that review??
