Hmm you say 2009. I'm also keeping my p1 for a longer time too. it seems to suit all my needs currently.

was taking down a note today while on a call, and could take down adress, phone nos etc with so much ease using the notes app
and then save them to address book just by clicking on the number
I realised how useful this smartphone is, just about fits my needs
it would take me a lot of time in the past to do the same on my Nokia N series(not that it was bad)
but this is quicker

Well you are right. Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't be a fan of P series. These phones are complete. They have everything a mobile phone users would want.

No profiles. P1i does not have profiles, and no one has found a way to fake them.
Signd by Symbian is a good reason to avoid a P1i = few applications, and many of them wont install properly
It has lovely bright LEDs but you dont have a way to use them as a torch! (OK, not a reason not to buy it, but very annoying)
Otherwise, its a really great phone.
I will upgrade to the replacement if it has:
same keyboard, better screen, gps, accelerometers, PROFILES.
I wont touch WinCE or any variant thereof ever.

you realize that with Capswitch + sis installer mod by swmail, Symbian Signed is INEXISTENT??? Everything installs...
