I guess you right so all that matters is that most of us believe in God.

@gola... no the main thing is that you believe in what you believe in and dont let anyone else tell u otherwise... take me for example...

Started going to church with my parents as a child (more like forced to really as i didnt have any choice) stopped going to church when i started secondary school as it wasnt the 'cool' thing to do and i would of gotten a lot of grief of my peers for goin every week. Started working and still didnt go. After some time i felt a little dis illusioned with everything in my life and needed to get some answers so started to go to church again, within a year i met my now fiance emma who was a member of the choir and joined the choir maself.... we are now getting married and i have never been so happy. i go to church for myself and myself only. i thank god for everything i own and everything that happens to me and i am due to start a theology in religious studies and pastoral leadership course at uni as i wish to be a full member of my church...

Thats why i am a christian and an active member of the church and i believe in one god who created the world for us to live on... whether your a christian or muslim or any other religion we all follow a set of standards...

@peterkay...

Yeh one god and the afterlife.... after death those that have lead a righteous and loving life will sit at the right hand of god and ascend to heaven, of course this is different depending on religious beliefs

No disrespect to any religions, I just can't believe any of it personally

Im a proud atheist but don't hold anybody for being religious!

You could call me a lost cause haha!

@gola...

I dont 'know' God in any way or form neither do i claim to. What i do know is that i am trying to be the best christian i can be and that i want to help my church grow and help its congregation to follow their beliefs and help any of them who are in need.

I hope that once i have completed the course i will be able to go one of two ways.... become a warden of my church or even better, go to theological college and become a minister.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Getting back on track how is everyones preparation for the soon coming harvest festival? The choir which i am a part of have been practicing Praise, O Praise and Panus Angelicus which to be honest are very difficult and they r both taxing us especially the Alto's and Bass.

PeterKay,

You havemore in common with Juddism I believe.

Christanity is almost the same theory, except with Jesus whereas yoiu believe him to be a Prophet of God, not a Son.

But I truly respect your religion and Sakkah is something we should of all adopted.

God is in everyone you just have to look around you and inside yourself. Though there is evil and bad things in the world you also have to look at the bigger picture. There are so many people in this world always helping other people who are in need and always sacrificing what they have to help others. That to me in itself with the good in so many people is gods work and god inside good people. All the bad things going on in the world always seem to be more than anything good we see because of media. There is so much good and so many good people and they are doing gods work.
