Another thing I forgot is that there is no way to close applications, they all just get minimized and you have to manually close them via task manager. Thats an unneeded step.
Secondly, if i have web running in the background, and then i run another application that requires some RAM, the phone will automatically close down web without informing me, without any warning what so ever. This was just beyond annoying when I had a W950. Just where does a phone come off closing applications itself?
Of course this isn't present in the P1, but if you somehow manage to fill its 128mb of RAM, i'm sure it'll close down applications without any prior warning.

So the first and second points cotradict each other and the third point means the G900 is very unlikely to close apps anyway seeing as it has the same amount of memory as a P1i.
You basically complained about the way UIQ works, your not supposed to close apps down, the whole point is they run in the background so they are accessed faster when you go back to them as you very well know.
Does a Nokia not work in the same way then? Do you not have to force close it's programmes?

Guys!

Have been using the SE P1i ever since it was launched. Have got bored with it. The color has faded out and ht back button has given up. I have also given up on SE to launch its successor.
I was a confused between going in for a G900 or a E66. Would really appreciate if you put up your opinion on it.

Regards

Get another P1 - unlock it and have some fun! - and treat it a bit more carefully - what are you a binge-drinking student?

I was thinking of waiting till the X1 is released. The major advantages are:

X1 is just 15-10 days away
X1 is really promising (as of now)
If the X1 is not worth it, the G900 prices would definitely drop once the X1 flagship is out.

I was speaking to a friend today who was carring a 8 gig ipod, a blackberry and a regular phone (k800i)

he was fiddling, trying to remove his ipod earphones and place his K800i handsfree in his ears, he also was using his blackberrys organiser for appointments while speaking on his other phone

And he told me, darn, if only someone could invent a device thatd combine all 3 and is sleek, reliable and fits in your palm

I touched my P1i in my pocket and grinned
