I really think it looks absolutely dreadful. Still its their 1st effort but they will have to go a long way to get up there with the other Touch devices out there. The UI looks really old-fashioned.

The UI is just bog standard S60 but made for touch screens. It is their first touch screen phone but there is a chasm of difference between this and iphone in terms of looks and usability. It just goes to show how ill prepared Nokia were for iphone.

It looks aesthetically much much better than UIQ. Thats coming from experience, i have used UIQ and its extremely boring to use and it looks old.

nevertheless the crap UI look (i´m sure it will improve), the 5800 is amazing in terms of specs/price ratio...i have to give it to Nokia, well done
