it's possible that the picture quality to be a tad worse because the lack of a lens cover(the lens gets dirty or scratched)

So I think the W902 with modded camera driver can perform the same as C902 can. In fact, it may be it's walkman version somehow.

Brilliant your supposition but unfortunately you are completely wrong.
Well the important is that you expressed an opinion.
w902 works with the same sensor chips of the family MCBXXX Sony and about cybershot is a trademark for sales.
