It's early days yet, but i just wanted to let everyone know that i seem to have had some success by changing the Dial-Up Timeout setting to 'Never' in Settings Connectivity Internet Accounts More Options.

Keen to hear if this works for anyone else. i've had the globe icon on my phone all day and it's currently 5pm. No restarts either, so very happy.

@bangster:get pop3 to check you emails every fee mins and you won't lose anything. As I said,I think it's operator's issue.

it's not only the push email that stops working. any application that needs internet stops. this goes for pop3 and opera browser as well.

i use to have the same problem with the globe some time it comes up sometimes it remains dull. what i have discovered is that when ever wi-fi is turned on and its out of range gprs internet doesn't work but as soon as you switch off wi-fi it goes back to normal......

if your wi-fi is in range it will work but as soon as its out off range turn it off so you can resume gprs browsing. dont know maybe the wifi settings some how manage to over-ride gprs

well imo

thats how i get mine to start working again why dont you guys give it a try and tell me how it goes for yall
