If you don't touch the P800 in standby the battery seems to last forever. If you use it it doesn't last very long. I suppose the LCD+light cost a LOT of power...

the screen is a blood sucker
I bought a portable charger..
basically u manually rotate a handle and it charges the phone.. pretty cool
I was also thinkin of maybe buying a solar powered charger..
like u plug it into the phone, it collects energy from the sun and charges.. I've seen those before.. but they were nokia batteries (wonder what they do when it's night?)

Unless you have a 2x2meter solar panel it would take forever to charge the 1000mAh battery. I have a small charger for AA's. To charge 2 AA's it takes well over a full day in greece in July...

I'm having some problems with the travel charger that came with P800. I usually use the phone even when it's charging, and when I'm moving about a little the phone will stop/start charging continously. So I can hardly move it when charging. Very annoying! If i leave it in the sync-station, everything is fine tho... Anyone else experienced this problem with a poor connection between phone and charger?

@Raven
I think, unfortunately, you are the victim of the bad design of the charging connections that our friends at

seem so loyal to, since the T28. If you use it, while it's charging, it will probably further loosen it - hence your problem.
The small consolation, until the bigger consolation when they finally succumb to using the Nokia 32xx series charging system(!), is that your charger is, as you probably know, covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty, so wherever you purchased it, should honour this and replace it for you - if not, I'm sure

will!

@Omar
Ofcourse the bluetooth will infect the stamina of the battery.
Try one day to not use bluetooth and u will see that it could last for 3 days, i am sure...
