Well I sent my phone in for repair and they sent it back after 2 weeks claiming they had fixed the problem. After less than 24 hours it turned itself off again!
I sent it straight back saying they had not fixed or tested the phone as they had stated. I waited another 2 weeks and got my phone back yesterday. This time they said they could not find a fault! Jokers!
Unsuprisingly my phone is still turning itself off even though I've tried the software update and so have they.
What am I supposed to do with this piece of junk!!
Does anyone know the official address for complaints to Sony Ericsson?
Cheers..

Try flashing it with KK if you can and then customize with a2uploader... Or pay some euros for totalgsm. It may fix the phone. Also try a plain SEUS firmware update before that.

Thanks for the reply strizlow,
I've found this firmware:
C902_R3DA028_FS_CENTRAL-EUROPE_CID52.fsm
C902_R3DA028_MAIN_GENERIC_AO_CID52.min
But I think this is what I already have on it, after checking the service menu i get R3DA028 prg12041731_GENERIC_AO R3DA028. What do you think I should customize it with? Is that so it changes the file system and might somehow stop the random turning off?
Also, would there be any difference between using KulanKendi and totalgsm for flashing?
Finally, is there any difference between flashing the phone with SEUS and flashing it with KK or totalgsm? because I tried SEUS and it didnt make any difference.
Thanks for the advice..

Got a new 902 after my black one, worked flawlessly! Then I installed a new theme and bingo it restarted! As soon as I removed the theme and reverted to an original it worked perfectly with no crashing since.

i bought a C902 5 days ago and it's auto-shutdown twice. both times i noticed is when i'm "pressing buttons too quickly" (ie. texting). i'm using default themes. i'm on R3DA028. first time it happened my heart skipped a beat...thought it was the BROD back to haunt me!!
i also realised that that battery indicator does not turn to yellow/red when the percentage drops below 20%. did the developers forget to include that little function in this phone?

I had 3 different C902's that did it tried different firmwares, including generic, still made no difference.
It also seems it was completely random when it did it, shame as I still want another, but caused me so many problems.
