probably the network speed is to slow,i had this problem time ago,(please wait buffering)and then it says,failed.i think is from the speed of wlan.
For mac adress you just instal R1FA034;35 and it will fix the problem,but instal the right software(main generic r1fa035 cid53 and fs r1fa035).

Save the below code as customize_upgrade.xml using notepad.
Use fsmanager script to access phone's filesystem. Copy to
tpa/preset/custom. WiFi should now be fixed.

Don't try modding it if it's still in the warranty. Take it to a service center to have it flashed. It's firmware issue.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but I did this and I managed to change my mac address from 0-0-0-0-0 but I still can't find anything with wifi
Any possible help?
