well nokia have a much better charger/headset input while SE have some silly input. after a while u need to buy a new charger/headset since the old will just pop-out whole time. also nokias headset is much better and absorb muc much more than SE's

Nokia's headsets are better than SE's? Yeah, good luck with that.

Well I agree totally on that point. The 3.5mm jack is an advantage, and the quality of the headphones I got with the N82 is superb. Very well built, with a built in Volume Control.
I also don't miss the stupid fastport on the side of the phone. Made much more sense when it was on the bottom, out of the way.

This is the reason I don't wanna leave SE although they arn't actually making any phones that fit my needs as well as offerings from Samsung. I am just hesitating as I felt really guilty when I got a U600 and missed SE's quirks. However I dont think SE are as good as they were ):

@nightblade
i didt ment sound quality. if i want sound quality i could just buy a koss headset for about 30euro and plugg in the 3.5mm jack. while in SE u need to buy the SE headset AND a koss headset. and thats not all after about 5-7 months the SE headset will stay in, it will just popout the whole time or it just stops to play which is annoying. in 2 year i hade to buy 5x Se headset. the one i have atm is broken in 2 places since its a nice headset (volym control and display on it) i didt just throw it away instand i fix it.
i start to think that SE build weak headset just so ppl buy a new one after 6-8 months due to headset monopoly on SE phones.

Haha you about covered everything, what's good about N82?
I was a Nokia user but switched to SE (the K850i) and haven't looked back, amazing interface is so simple. Love you SE...

I've honestly never given a thought to how different Nokia and SE are until this very week when my K850i had to be sent back for repair and I'm now forced to use my new works Nokia 6300.
OMG they are poles apart in user friendliness, I agree totally with Marty on the points raised, I soooooo miss my SE.

I remember when I got my W900, I didn't even read the user guide and just 'knew' how to use it. I previously had old nokias and one motorola, which was awful. However using my friends nokia made me realise how they've changed.
Plus, has anyone noticed that Samsung, Nokia and LG all have the same sort of layout for their UI? Dol they all use symbian. Probably sound thick saying this (:

Not all Nokias are Symbian S60 phones. Someone mentioned Nokia 6300, a S40 phone. They are a bit simpler and more similar to other feature phones.
All newish phones from the different makes are basically similar when it comes to the user interface. But those differences and quirks found in the phones makes people prefer one from the other.
