Seems to me mate ur making a lot of work for yourself. Try and Delete the duplicate apps one by one. Then restart and try deleting again. They WILL go eventually.

Well ... If You Say So, Then I think , should follow your words

Thank You !!!

No no no there is no need to flash your phone just delete those files from your memory card.

If your using Win XP do this.

Connect your phone in mass storage to your pc using the cable.
Navigate to your memory card on the pc, click on tools, then folder options,
click view tab, go to hidden files & folders, now check hidden files & folders,
Click apply then ok.

Now back to the memory card on the pc, go to \\system\\ams & delete all the files in there. Doing this should get rid of all the games & applications installed on the memory card. hth

Firoz haven't u had this problem before?

Chadiwrx, with all due respect i dont think u really understand the problem. The duplicate apps are not really there. They were created during a reboot when the phone tried to access the card. They are ghosts if u like and are stored somewhere in FS applications folder.

Yes I got it before and i mentioned it in yhe first post itself isn't it ?
And this time there are 4 of each application unlike before (which is 2 of each).
And NO matter how many times i restart, I cant delete the files. SO i went to the phone memory from system by connecting through data cable as file transfer and deleted all the files from the folder SYSTEM !!!

I shouldn't have been so stupid .. Things went wrong ... And now i cant delete them even after 15 restarts !!

Read my first post of this topic and You can see that i mentioned to have experienced this before and also mentioned that i got a solution from this forum.
and now i see that it was YOU ( Boysie99) Who helped me out that time ... Thanks for THEN ...and Thank for now too.

But i just cant delele them and even cant install the same application !!

Sorry for my BAD English !

My bad. Yes u did mention it. Did u manage to delete any of them? Let me get this straight. You have deleted the entire SYSTEM folder on card. And tpa/preset/system/ams and ur duplicates still remain, right?

"tpa/preset/system/ams" - i dont know if its the same path as "phone memory/system/"

i deleted only files and not folders ! there were data of about 12Mb and after deletion , obviously was 0 Mb.

Is it a BIG Blunder of mine ???
