i.e. not a ps3 or tv but a dlna device on its own?

many thanks but here in uk the cheapest i can find on ebay or amazon etc seems to be £195 (thats approx $300)!

For home network you have a network hub or router to connect all devices yeah!!

What is there for DLNA that is the equivelant to a router or hub?

I think that theres some dvd players that have DLNA. Your best bet is to go to a local electronics/appliances store and have a look for the DLNA logo.

surely if dlna is as popular as they say there should be a standard - affordable router type device (like this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/DMA-1[....]tronics&qid=1231670408&sr=1-2) but afordable??

i am not looking to purchase a ps3, dvd player, new tv or anything like that.....I WANT A DEVICE THAT SITS IN BETWEEN THESE DEVICES!

i think i read about a module that plugs into the back of your tv to stream content but cant remember where and cant find any reference to it.
