> Why do you choose SE over Nokia?

The little things they did captures majority of our hearts.
Fonts - Fancier and looks better than the thin Nokia.
Menu design - Whatever most application was used was displayed and the beautifully designed icon.
User interface - SE did research on them I guess. Also, the ease of use in some programs.
Design - Wow. It captures my heart. Not all are good, but those mid to high end usually... The colour combination, textures and materials used too ^^

Because SE would list down 10 features and a hundred would actually work, pleasant suprise. Nokia? Interchange the numbers.
It's the same reason why a true-blue SE admirer would choose an iPhone over an Omnia anytime. True goodness waits to be discovered in true legends. Pretenders and boring debaters wallow in feature lists. Without having used the goddamn thing for more than 10 minutes.

I would never go back to Nokia. My first Sony Ericsson was a K750i. I then moved up to a K810i, Now I'm on the awesome C905, and not looking back.
The Nokia interface is too slow, not very nice looking interface.
The only plus for Nokia's is the fact that they use Symbian, which is way ahead of Java, but everyone knows the SE Xperia running windows Mobile can take on any Nokia for the next few years. (I'm a fan of Windows Mobile).
SE has a few bugs, but they can be lived with.
SE for Life

Their UI - Totally awesome, ease of use, and multitasking comparible of that of a smartphone
They look cool - In New Zealand everyone has crappy samsungs and sanyo's, Sony Ericssons just look so much cooler than phones that samsung spend $2.50 designing

why i love SE over nokia:
1. UI - simple, flashy and straightforward. very eye-candy too.
2. design - most SE are much more stylish, unlike nokia. n81, n85 and n96 all looks the same. most nokia are very very plain and boring in terms of design.
3. camera - better than nokia. nokia is way behind in camera features.
4. SE can be modded and customizable.
no offense to nokia fans though.

For the following reasons:
1- Nokia is a 'sloth' (deadly slow) while SE is 'cheetah' in processing.
2- Noika is '100 yrs' back in style & design.
3- (I dnt know cam-wise) but I'm sure Nokia can never beat SE in Music.
4- Obviously 'customization'
I've also one issue for SE, that is:
SE can produce much better pictures & videos than Nokia, but why it is not doing so....? Horribly, It's out of my mind....!!

i only liked SE for one reason when i got my SE phone(my current)
IT HAD ACCELEROMETER, FLASH PICS ETC
now, im obsessed with SE
also, SE can play alot of java games
has a nice UI,
the themes on the net for SE > all other nokia themes
Build quality , i've dropped my SE a few times, without the case, there are dents , scrapped off paint from buttons, but, it still looks awesome
and lets not forget what everyone else was saying, the design, the design will own nokia, tbh, i find nokia designs shit, as someone has already stated, Nokia has VERY few phones with good design, however i find that the designs from nokia are getting a bit better
