Just press the function key, that brings up a menu and item 1 on that menu is keypad lock.

haha aite im going right now
wait, do i have to enable the virtual keyboard everytime i want to lockthe phone? that's kinda stupid if u ask me.
Also, how come i keep on getting the warning sign and have to press the power button for 10 secs? had it randomly while i wasn't even using my phone at least 4 times yesterday?
Also, last thing, how do i get it to say the name of the person in the contacts instead of just the first 5 or so digits of their number. Is there any way to use the same contact but have it say different things like "Mom" Mom Cell" under the pictures? or do i have to make diff contacts for the same person?
THNX running to local ATT now.

CAN NE1 HELP on that^^^^^^^^?
i went to att. it takes like 5-20 hours to migrate over to GSM so i just have to wait he gave me this number to call and get the gprs settings. of course it does not work for me until i get migrated over because it does not recognize my number as a gsm one. here it is:
1866-293-4634.
call that and get the GPRS settings or wait for me to post again when i charge up my p800 and wait for the damn thing to migrate over.

that message is a system failure message it happened a couple of times to me (3-4 times)
for voice tags
go to voice control (i think my phone stopped working so i cant check) and click on the name you want to have a voice tag and then it will tell you what voice for which number under the same name
all of this is in the manual by the way

Thnx, I guess I wasn't clear enough tho.
I meant speed dial screen. It has my pictures of the people i want to speed dial. but under the pictures it says the first 5 digits of their numbers, which isn't helpful to me because it only tells me their area code. so how do i get it to say their name under the pictures?
Can I get it to say a different name under the same picture for a diff number like "mom" and "mom cell" ?
thnx-i'm still waiting for my plan to migrate to gsm then i will post gprs settings.

@contaygious
I'm excited for you. So the ppl at the AT&T shop gave you a SIM and said it will work on the P800? Cool! Did they do anything else to your phone?

nope. just drooled over it and told me to call that number when i finally migrated over. they said to use the phone only on flight mode because it might burn out my sim as it tries to get info from att when im not a gsm customer yet.
