I really don't see the point of the keypad, the phone being touchscreen. The lack of any sorts of tactility further deprives it of usefulness. It's just flashy.
It makes texting and browsing easier.

I doubt LG will release this phone unless they know for certain that it will deliver and not break easily, that would just be plain dumb, not all phone companies are like SE

I've used this phone for a couple of minutes this tuesday, it feels just verry sturdy, so nothing to care about I think. Nice phone as far as I could tell in that few minutes, I have a Arena laying around here, so I know the interface anyway. The transparent keypad is impressive indeed
I'm looking forward to be able to play with it a bit longer.

Sorry guys, it's me again
Ah man, lol, this is a kick A$$ phone. The fact that it can also be touch controlled with the "keypad" is just a super gimmick to the core, but at least the screen won't have so many finger smudges.
Bravo to LG, they've really outdone themselves.

I think the glass keypad is utterly useless, since it lacks tactility. Just a snazzy gimmick. Wonder what it'll look like after a few month's worth of use?
Not saying that the phone isn't nice or anything.
