@Bonovox Sometimes having no credit at all can work to your disadvantage in a credit scoring...stupid, huh? How did the keys feel on this, did they feel too cramped at all? My Mrs is currently looking at getting either this or the LG Arena, the idea of a touch & key combo does sound good.

Also credit scores are judged by address as well. My brother has terrible credit, always in debt etc, whereas I'm always clean. But because he has so many strikes against him, it was listed against me too because we had the same address.

If you talk to the network directly you can usually resolve the situation. I had to do that a few times.

Think i remember it being black or blue on 3. Not sure of its internal memory. I think this and the LG Arena are 2 of the best phones around now. The Arena is amazing. Though i did mention in another thread that Vodafone lately seems to have no LG in their range. Samsung and LG though are coming on leaps and bounds and are racing ahead of SonyEricsson and Nokia imo. Oh and no the keys did not feel cramped at all they were fine i got big fingers too lol. With this being expensive i might go for Samsung Lucido its cheaper but with 5 mega pixel camera no touch screen but features to match. I am thinking of trying for contract directly through Orange like changing from my Orange pay as you go to pay monthly. Sometimes that works better.

Yeah Vodafone did say it was a popular phone and that it was expensive still I got it free and im paying £25 a month new customers have to pay £30 apparentley or £35 to get it free!

I intially tried to get a contract outta VF for £15 and pay of the handset with my N95-2 but they guy said the phone would be too much that way,

funny cos 02 have it like that and you have to pay 150 upfront but tbh I don't want a Blue one and I don't like 02's data!

VF are a very good network, Bono you should try and build your credit up somehow get a Home shopping catalogue or sumat? I think thats what gave me good credit, I always pay my bills on time aswell

anyway I guess i'll have to do a review of this phone
hasn't anybody else got it?! :?

I had the Tocco and I've got an Omnia and I've got to say I can't stand the TouchWiz UI. I've turned it off on the Omnia and stuck with the Samsung Today home. I didn't like the touch type for messaging too; I hope they have redesigned it or that it's better with the keypad.

I did consider getting this until the new Omnia HD comes out but the thought of going back put me off. I hope you like the TouchWiz interface better than I do though.

Theres some nice features on the phone but getting used to it will take a few days, I prefer my N95-2 over it tbh, but im sure I can learn to love this one

I like how you can have fancy font for everything and theres some intresting app called Prank call ive not even bothered opening that yet,
but anyway to cut things short it chaanges your voice

Design wise is niceshame it's not a Metalic silver it's pretty dull and grey :/
but I have to say im loving the red

Vodafone haven't branded this much one logo on the screen at the bottom, startups and shut-downs etc and some text which comes on saying "How are you?" on bootup!

Screen is quite responsive but not Apple responsive, if you have tried a iPhone and own a iPod Touch then this handset is no way as quick as it!

internet is kinda slow you have to keep your finger on the link before it it will open it!

memory is the usual 80MB which is shoddy but it comes with a 1GB Transflash!

Personally I don't think i'll be keeping it 24months even though ive got it it that long on contract lets hope it will hold its value until I get rid of it

I would of considered some other phone cos this is quite a disapointment one so peeps if youe after a phone phone buy this, if your after a Multi-function phone lean elsewhere

There is a new Samsung Classico on Virgin Mobile which is very similar to this phone but has 5 mega pixel camera. It looks almost identical. Its free on £20 tariff with 400 mins unlimited texts. Not bad.
