The earpiece and microphone grills are the most striking part of the Nokia design, and they aren't even hinted at in the LG. Ok, so aside from that (and the different proportions) they're both touchscreen phones with a silver frame - they aren't the first and they won't be the last, who cares?

As for the buttons - they're standard issue S60 Touch, as found on every other S60 Touch phone, including the 5800 released before the Arena.

I can't really believe I'm posting this since I really don't like Nokia and I think S60 Touch is a horribly flawed platform - but seeing the ridiculous SE fanboy reaction to a phone which for all its flaws is head and shoulders above anything SE are doing right now, I feel compelled to defend it..

Yea right. Compare them when of the same color and then see.

Anyways, since SE dont have a touch phone, comparing this to anything that SE has in its portfolio can obviously be done by idiots who have no idea of market segmentation.

Phone's don't get segmented by their touch sensititivity, they get segmented on price, appeal, and function, pretty much on that order. The idea that no potential customer of a Walkman phone might be tempted by this because it's a touch phone, and therefore doesn't fall into the narrow Walkman market niche carved out by SE to date, is fanboy naivite at its very best.

Theres a reason why god made a brain for each and every person walking on road. And that is to have their own choices and their opinions on things. Now if you think yourself to be god and can assess the common man's opinion to little or no anomalies, i have nothing to say. lets just see how this goes rather being fanatical about anything thats not SE.

LMFAO!!! @ copy of LG Arena! So what? Yes it KIND OF looks similar, why bitch about it though? The Palm Pre looks a bit like a HTC TouchDual, but realy who the hell cares? Anyway this will apparently be around $199 at release, its meant to be a cheaper 5800. This phone aint even out and its already got bitter haters, they realy are doing somethin right . Lol no 3G a fail? WOW ignorance is bliss.
