Strong, when you're doing the right thing, don't care what others are writing. It spoils their reputation, not yours.
Carry on with your work. That's a better use of time and concentration.
Regards.

If the words don't help who make something,discard it...
Everyday someone will appear to vilify your efforts.Just ignore it and continue the good work.

BTW, Strong, can you tell how u implemented manual focus in Macro without losing the focus when shutter button is half-pressed? The link to your camdriver is invalid. otherwise, i could have checked the code

thats the point i was wrong i cant solve this for now thats why i set manual focus to portrait scene

@strong

Manual focus in Portrait scene??

Even in portrait scene, how did u manage to implement manual focus? When u press the shutter button halfway, the manually set focus will be lost, i am i right?

Can u share the code?

Autochrome

Its with Infinite Focus on Portrait scene, so focus won't be lost at half-press.

I've a few new ideas about manual focus and if they work, then focus won't be lost at half-press even in macro mode and so there won't be any need to set focus to auto again.
I'll share the code if it works.
Will be a bit busy for two days though...
