I like this phone.
I agree with comments about having room for a larger sceen and I'm not a fan of leaving wifi out of midrange phones such as this, T700 and W980.

what im liking from
lately is that they're adding hsdpa 850 and 1900. these bands are used here. previous
phones come with umts 2100
What I hate about SonyEricsson late models:
*** They offer tri-band UMTS: 850/1900/2100 mainly for American versions! Why the hell they can't support such kind phones for all the world!? People travel a lot and use their phones everywhere!
This is a true discrimination, SE!!
However, 2100 Mhz is even not used in America! The honest way to make tri-band UMTS phones would be:
a) 850/1900/2100 for America
b) 850/900/2100 for rest of the world (or 900/1900/2100)
Hmm... I wonder: is it possible to make such kind multiband phone: GSM 400/850/900/1800/1900 + UMTS 450/850/900/1700/1900/2100? All frequencies.
*** And the other stupid decision of SE: videocalls only with backside camera! Yes, I know, this feature is not used a lot. But even my old K610i has two cameras! It's not so hard to put two cameras in more advanced mobile phones.
*** By the way, do you know: did SE bring back the stanby time with missed calls and sms icons? Or is the screen still completely blank in standy? This is like in the beginning of mobile phone era when phones did not had a screen at all...

I love how they say "whip it out" and how they think that readability in direct sunlight is a top feature.
Just a generic W595 methinks. Who was the douche in SE that signed this off? It's likely to come out more expensive than the W595, and with what? I personally like the W595's styling better.
Lol. You missed the most obvious. . The 'Large 2.2 inch screen' . . Lol. Large? Wtf. . Lol.

Idk what u guys are smoking, but on my PC screen this large 2.2 inch screen isn't just large, it's huge ;]
Also, compared to the T610 or the T68 this large 2.2 inch screen is huge :]

2.2 is good, C902 has a tiny screen. And. . . If
puts a 3inch screen in phones they move the D-pad under the slider,

Why is it crappy? In what way does is fail as a budget conscious mid-range fashion phone?
SE phones in this price range often have 1.9" or 2.0" screen therefore 2.2 is comparatively large. Not as large as a high end N-series or an iPhone but then neither is the price! Sure there is some marketing waffle going on but so what? It's a press release after all. Don't have to be so picky, this is a
FAN site not an
HATE site.

I read in a article that this
t715 has smart desktop and birthday reminders .... is this first ever for a
phone
and why doesn't
give some features present in newer A200 platform phones to the older A200 platform phones....it will enhance user experience and the company's reputation

thats i'm also looking for. but i feel instead of adding new features its way better to fix the issues.
adding new feature will increase the cost of rework that never give profits to the company,

Because it requires a whole new business model.
It would mean going from making money from selling huge numbers of phones to making money from keeping your customers long term and selling them extra services through an online store, a model that Apple started in 2001, fine tuned over time and has perfected in the last 12 months. Not something that
can create overnight.
Good question though and I would like to see them utilise SEUS to add new features like they did in Feb with the C905.
Retrospective upgrades to A200 owners would go along way to pleasing customers who've put up with flaky firmware in the past.
Sorry for going off topic.
