R.I.P To the King of Pop. Im in absolute shock, there are loads of his tracks that i like, i think almost everyone of his albums has a fav track of mine, my parents have lots of his cds and dvds of tours, live concerts etc. . . .so i grew up hearing a lot of his music in the house. what a day, R.I.P to Farrah Fawcett as well, like Larry King just said, her death wasnt completely a shock like Michaels, we already saw it coming, but either way R.I.P to another icon.

This is really sad news but he will finally get some peace now but lets not forget the great music he has given us which i and many millions of people around the world grew up with.I was also fortunate enough to attend a couple of his live concerts which i'll never forget.

Rest in Peace Michael its sad that some never understood you but just remember that millions of your fans will always remember you forever!

No, I don't think he adhered to any particular religion but there were overtones of Hindu and Bhuddism in his album covers.

I've been a fan of MJ for a long time and like his early work, enjoyed his 80's music but lost interest after his album Dangerous because of the obvious sexual themes in his music. His sister Janet is even worse in this regard (check out her song Throb for instance). Still love those dance moves though - was he the world's best dancer?
Rest in peace.

May he carry on dancing and singing in the heavens. His Thriller album is still the biggest selling album of all time 200 million and counting. Still his best album. He was largely misunderstood man he missed out on his youth so he was like a big kid in a mans body. Shame. You could see he was a good person and very talented too almost every dancer these days are influenced by him. And remember he was found NOT guilty of child abuse and i admired him for standing upto the press and still appeared in public with defiance. God bless him. He entertained millions and made people happy and influenced people thats always gotta mean something. Before he had plastic surgery there was nothing wrong with his looks he was a good looking man. Yet he had all the plastic surgery done cos his father used to tell him he was ugly as a child. Sad indeed.

Moral of the story: don't listen to a thing your old man says when he's drunk. Unfortunately for MJ, his father seems to be drunk 99% of the time.

R.I.P to one of the most colorful figures in showbiz. He was a living legend!
