It's worse than that. There is a bug in the Italian firmware where if you change the defaults it can anytime change the volume to 100db and damage the speakers. I speak from experience- ir does happen.

something else whicq pisses me off about this phone. There's an app called 'photo contacts' which you just can't close, except with handy taskman..why? It's pointless that it remains running in the background..does it happen on other firmwares? Mines running I8910XXIE6 which is polish. Also, i sometimes see SCREEN CAPTURE running but i can't find the app itself, going through the menu's.
