It seems ok now it has not restarted since and I have been on the internet I was on Ebay.co.uk mobile when it restarted. Could it be something to do with that site?

I am still having a few problems with the internet as well. I have taken it to my 02 shop and they have cleaned the sim card and reset the settings for the internet. But this has not fixed this problem. Does anyone else get communication failures when either trying to connect to the internet or whilst using it? If so how did you fix it?


I would appreciate your help on this annoying problem.

What is your apn?
Using wap or internet.
Mine i use wap because internet is postpaid only n0t prepaid

Yes I can text and call fine.

APN is payandgo.o2.co.uk

I am using GPRS

This is a odd problem as it will happen sometimes and not others it will also happen on a full singal.


Any ideas

ah gprs
try authentication=none, pap, chap
do not use proxy
turn off proxy
try using opera mini 4.2

OK thanks for your reply. I made those changes. It has worked most of the day without the error happening. The only time it has done it today is when I tried to access the o2 active home page. But I don’t use that much so not bothered about that everything else seems to load fine. If the problems still happen could it be related to the sim card?

P.S. Opera Mini is great

Its just happend again though it has only done it once today. It happend in the standrad phone broswer and not opera.

Do you think that it could be the sim card? Is there any other settings that I can change?
