People I have already seen improvements in Sony Ericsson. Having phones like the c510 and w995 I am finding them very reliable like they used to be. I have already seen improvements as far as I am concerned. I dont think Sony Ericsson will go down like Motorola have. Also O2 have the w995 in their store brochure. The Nokia n97 has already slumped to number 10

The success of the W995 has shown that there is still a great demand for non-touch screen phones. The smart thing about Aino is the fact that it will appeal to those who still demand a keypad AND those who desire a touch screen, regardless of how 'limiting' it may be.

Yes. Not everyone wants a touch screen. After recent purchases of a few touch screen phones and then coming back to classic Sony Ericsson w995 I realised what I missed.

I agree to some of Eldars statements, but what I find interesting is not what he writes, but why he would publish such a letter in the first place. Isn't Eldar unbiassed? Why this sudden consern for Sony Ericsson? He does not throw dirt on the products. It is mostly towards the organisation. Does he have a thorn in the side of a couple of Sony Ericsson employees in Russia?
Eldar says:
a story about how Sony Ericsson's employees have managed to make me disdain their products
just like Sony Ericsson has been ignoring all the feedback concerning its operations from both users and journalists over the last few years
I was trying to show many people inside the company that a crisis was coming and they had to move swiftly to prevent it
Furthermore, whenever journalists attempt to inform our audiences about these flaws we start getting letters in which it's explicitly stated that we shouldn't write about that as such issues are non-existent.

Eldar should come here and read some of the comments, he is waisting his time cleary SEs fanboys want SE to stay exactly the way it is and not improve. I wish he did the same to NOKIA but unfortunetly the 5800xm and N97 are doing so well that NOKIA have grown huge ego.
By the way-
Ive said it before and il say it again: AN AWARD DOES NOT MEAN SUCCESS. Just look at some of the devices that have gotten EISA Awards: G810 for best Camera phone last year, the thing HARDLY sold and its image quality was certainly not the best, W910 won one also, and what a disaster that was, and didnt the W980win something as well? And where is it now? Dont see the point of those awards realy, except to give a lil boost in the promo of the device.

He won't. Not as long as the check from Espoo arrives on time. Seen any non-Nokia interviews on M-R lately?
You gotta understand, no one's questioning the problems outlayed in the letter. But some of us do have genuine concerns about the integrity and motives of the author. Quite a few examples of his lack of coherence and hell, dishonesty have been mentioned by a lot of people including me. I take it that you're smart enough to make your own conclusions.

@gucci-So convenient of you to skip what goldenface said and take a hit on se_love. Goldenface's post describes the the W995's success. Anyways, the letter has a few valid points, but lets not dwell deep into this. His reviews are still shit and i hope he allows the other guys in the team to review SE products. I have had enough of this crap.

P990: Ram disaster.
C905: Earpiece disaster.
X1: Arriving late and high price disaster.
Every phone from SonyEricsson: Fast port disaster.
Etc ………………… Etc ………………… Etc …………………
Lots of disasters. SonyEricsson totally fail to maintain the quality of products and I think this is the main reason of their present status in the market. Only W995 can't take the company to toward. I miss the days of W800,K750,K800,W850.

I think the letter was well written. Not offensive and kept on a positive note. Every professional should appreciate it as when you come in to your work place in the morning you should leave your ego with the receptionist, ask yourself what you can do what is best for the company and then pic up that useless ego again on your way home.
Cheers,
