I guess all this doubt shows that:
1) This is a very well informed community that needs a lot more to be convinced
2) The very fact that SE is willing to interact and listen to its consumers is surreal and unthinkable, thanks to their 'eat whatever shite we feed you puny consumers' attitude for the past 2 years. They're not so high and mighty now are they
