What the hell are you talking about ?
the p800 has just released so we couldn't play it much earlier now could we ? and i have played doom on the 7650 and that looks not as good as it looks on the P800.

You can't seriosly mean that P800 kicks ass because it now can play Doom?
If so, I defently have a different understanding of "kicks ass".

Well, the P800 also has GPRS, and is tri-band. The 9210 refrigerator doesn't have GPRS and is only dual band, the brick cam 7650 is still dual band as well. The 3650 has those features, but has a puny screen and is a lot larger than the P800.

Just curious... how do 7650 owners play Doom? The Doom1.wad file is already 4MB...how does it fit in the phone??!?!?! My friend owns a 7650 and wants it on their phone.

And is there Battleship for the 7650 as well?

I don't disagree that P800 has better features , but playing doom with stylus or jog-dial is not one of them

Well, you're kinda right about the stylus. In my opinion the lack of button input is the weakest aspect of the P800 if you want to use it as a Game Boy. In Doom you can actually control the game very well using the jog-dial instead of the stylus. I'm sure you can master playing Doom using the stylus after a bit of practice but the game was just never meant to be played that way.
It would be great if developers would make games using the closed-flip mode and take advantage of the key-input on the flip. Also, with a smaler active screen area the graphics could be much more detailed. Just an idea.

sorry but... i'm afraid i don't understand how to install this wad files. i have copied both files into memorystick/documents/doom but that doesn't to be the correct way. i am now installing it with the software installer but before asking me whether to install it in c: or d: it says "not enough space available" and terminates.

Actually, it's hard to play with doom on the P800
Maybe a better remaping would be give better results.

I agreee with the closed flip solution
But to me, the P800 will kick ass other smartphone with game such as command and conquer,Warcraft,SimCity or golf Game...

The lack of buttons is definitely a problem for action game, but big touch screen may be used for another way of game...

Programmers, get ready, Go !

You have to put both doom1.wad and doom3.wad in the directory document/DOOM and you have to instal the program edoom thats all there is.
