W995 slider is close to the best I've seen on sliders. But I thought the C905a (AT&T version) slider was good too. My son is using it for over 4 months now and there is no wobble.

i also want to buy a W995 but i have a question: how is the slider ? is it solid ?
i'm asking this because i'm sick of C905 which has the worst slider

Excellent pics!...
Looks can be deceiving, i thought Aino was bigger than it really is... Cant wait to see both of them in person...

Very nice pics Sunrise. @ Tuco. On Aino you have to close it to use the camera. There is a shutter-button but you can also use touch-focus.

Aino is not that big at all. It is actually quite small for me.

Aino doesn't feel big at all. As a owner of both phones, I would stay with W995 even though there are so many nice things on Aino like big screen solid slider, etc. At the end of the day W995 will feel like a better phone because you can navigate the logs, make calls, navigate menu, browse, etc without having open the slider. Also, Aino is becoming a pain each day on how I accidentally touch call end button when phone is in pocket as there is no phone lock function while on call. Also, phone feels slower compared to W995. A lot slower actually. Mine is going to go back to SonyStyle.

Same sentiment over here, the W995 is probably the pinnacle of the previous SE technology. The Aino,Satio & other newgen phones will reach the same level of polish eventually but it will take a bit of time.

I Agree,
W995 is the best choice, it has the 3.5 mm port, the sound is just great, you can navigate the hole phone without open it, etc
Dude, go for the W995.

I still think that overall, w995 is Sony Ericsson's masterpiece. Feature wise, appearance and for me the best is the sound quality and durability. I am an owner of one for quite some time now and replacing it with a newer SE model has never crossed my mind since I've been really satisfied with the phone's performance. Not once have I ever used the 1 year warranty from timtechs where I got this phone from since the phone is just so durable.
