I know the bug with the AF light, but for me the most annoying bugs are:
-The auto-focusing isn't properly optimized, and the pictures are often out of focus -in those cases too in wich conditions focusing should have done well. Sometimes sports or macro mode helps, but it isn't perfect anyway. It can be related to software version, or customisation, becuase with R1EA033, prg1225-4901_APAC_FI I had no problems with focusing, as I remember, this problem occured after changing the language pack and updating at the same time to R1GA028, prg1212-2029_GENERIC_FI
-I can't adjust the EV correction in dark environment. I can't make the pictures or videos to be brighter just darker in these cases.
-When I view pictures in File Manager, and I use zooming, when I press the back button, it takes back to the pictures instead of the 100% size of the picture.

We should report these bugs to SE, otherwise they would think that the C901 has no bugs. I'm really waiting the next update, becuase the last one, the R1GA028 appeared in september, and the AF's, and EV correction's bugs are quite annoying.

Try pointing the camera towards a source of light then adjusting the EV, this works on mine

But it gets darker again when you move it back to the dark object, and you need a brighter source of light too. Anyway, it's a bug, you can't take a video in a party or a picture on a dark street with sports mode -wich prevets blurry pictures caused by hand movements.

So I think we shold insist to get an update as soon as possible wich corrects these bugs. Untill then we can practice some temporary solutions, but I rather like when something works so as it has to work.

@mriley
Yes and Yes. They replied, they reported it to the competent department. But these bugs mean problem just for me? Why don't all of us contact them, who experience these bugs? Then probably SE would hurry up to release an update...

i think people wont want to contact SE because they dont know how, maybe post a link here of an email everyone can send to Sony ericsson,
maybe requesting a camera update, with longer shutter speed for Twilight Landscape and things to fix

I don't know any department's e-mail adress. I've just contacted SE via their web page. I've selected Support, then Contact us (here is the link for UK: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/common/contact?cc=gb&lc=en ). There you choose phones for topic category, than C901 at models. But I think everyone knows this way to contact SonyEricsson. I don't know any more special way to contact them.

I've just checked C901's specifications at SonyEricsson UK page, and there is listed the Image stabiliser too, which would be a good thing, but on C901 is available yet just the video stabiliser. It would be perfect to be introduced the Image stbiliser too, but just after they fix the AF bug.
