ok...i should note...it's not connectivity that's the problem for now, its the installation of the PC Data Suite that'e the real culprit right. how to perform the physical connection can be done..so many alernatives are there.

But if it's your private phone, tough luck, they probably couldn't care less if some worker brings a private gadget from home and tries to sync COMPANY INFO to it, infact it's probably forbidden.

Thanks akiro, for you opinion and feedback. my company does upgrade on a selected basis to Win2K currently, if there is enough business justification for that individual, if the already supported Palm and PPC sync software cannot be used. Until this age my previous Vx and my current Jornada worked just fine. I just feel that SE should have supported NT in the interim, until all companies have made the jump. don't you think this could have then also brought in more Sales from corporates, if this could have been a supported PDA with NT support. Why do you think, that all the major sync software houses still support Win NT? yes because they understand that big market is the corp sector, not just some techno geeks (inclusive of myself) who have nothing better to do than spend outrageous money on this phone. Honestly, if had really known that the PC data suite did not support NT, i would have waited a few more months, until someone does a move either SE or my company.

now, i am just a frustrated consumer !!!
