@Astigino, T68i uses a li-polymer battery, they dont need draining to nothing like older kinds of battery, so top it up when you can, even if you don`t fully charge it, it doesn`t matter, i gave mine 20mins here & there when it was convenient for me, it never got fully drained & it lasted well over a year & was still 300 hrs standby after a full charge after 14months heavy use.

To astigino and pachy:
I know that people say it does not matter when do you start to charge your T68i and how long do you let it charging. But I have experienced that if I charge the phone (battery) only 2-3 hours, it gives less standby time than I charge it 10-12 hours as usually. And it does not harm the phone either battery if you charge it even 24 hours.
When to start charging? I'm convinced that it be better for battery (and battery life) if you star to charge after the phone has switched off (because of battery goes so empty). As you know: the battery lives longer if you don't charge it very often. All batteries have so-called maximum charging-cycles after what they don't contain so much power (energy) as at the beginning.
I have had my T68i 9 months and before charging I always let the battery to go empty until the phone switches off. Also I usually charge it 10-12 hours as I said (just let it charge overnight).
And result is here: average standby is now a bit more than 8 days, maximum 11 days and more (267 hours).

Hello there!
I agree. I too notice that even though the green led is on (meaning charge is complete), if I let it charge an extra 3-4 hours the stanby time increases dramatically.

as previously posted somewhere - the LED only represents the fast charging. The rest of the charge must be gotten through trickle charge i.e very very slow but it is only for approx. 2% of the battery.

Greetz!
That's exactly what I do and therefor, I have managed to keep the battery functional and lasting.
My t68i's battery went dead a couple of minutes ago and I charged it precisely 2 weeks ago!

A new Guiness record for me
In order to achieve this, I turned backlight off during the day, and turned the phone off at night whilst

. Had a daily moderate use:
- A couple of SMSes,
- A couple of calls, 2 minutes average
- Email checking through GPRS
Never had such a lasting phone battery! Praise t68i, praise
