2pachy: great to hear it's great!!! BTW: T9??? Who da f**k needz T9?!?! I am one of those who can write (and not only messages) reaaaaaaaaaaly fast, I even beat my dudez when they use they're fancy (and FAST, this is true) Nokia's and T9!!! So I just don't give a f**k... like Eminem said in his k00l song BTW: Is it really so strange to write with "handwriting-recognition" on it? I heard (and saw) it's recognizing realy fast, so it could be no problem... 1 more thing, how much did you get it for? Here they will cost over 27.500 Kc (Cech korun's), that's some 920 Euro's

2pachy: kinda too much, isn't it? Well at least here, when I count it, the T68 and camera (MCA-20) cost 500 Euro (best price you can find, somewhere it's even over 600 Euro), and you gave him another 580, well... f**k, that's too much...

Look I don't mean to be rude, but why are you all geting so worked up over delivery reports anyway? The 'automatic' delvery reports on SE phones (envelope with tick) only tell you that the message has been delivered to the receiver (of your SMS) SMSC. Let me clarify, IT DOES NOT indicate that the receivers mobile got the SMS.
I've tested this and it's confirmed true as there is a significant time lag (up to 3 hours) between receiving the confirmation report and the receivers mobile actually getting the SMS delivered. The trick of putting RCT or #n# or whatever in front of the text in the SMS is I believe the only way to confirm the receiving mobile has truly received the SMS not just the SMSC has sent back a 'I've got the message' poll.

2pitviper: Hahaha, I have to lough out really loud... tell me buddy, where you from and what exactly you know about GSM and stuff? Because what you said about the SMSC, is BULLSHIT!!! I am not so long in GSM, 2 and a half years didn't make me a professional, but there's some things I have learned, and there are some things I know about SMSC, too, even if I am just monitoring a GSM network... so:
When you send an SMS, it arrives to the SMSC within msec's. The SMSC knows you want a receipt upon a "code" that the SMS contains when it leaves your phone. The SMSC sends the message to the destination number and immediately when the message is delivered, the SMSC answers your phone with the delivery report. It's not like you said, that the delivery comes when it's delivered to the SMSC. That is so stupid, why the hell would there be a delivery report, when it would tell you it is delivered to the SMSC? Of course it is, and the sender wants to know wether the recipient has got it or not! So just for your info, SMS delivered means the USER has received your message

I really agree with you, I think the P800 is really great, BUT I would have expected it to have AT LEAST the basic features of the T68, seeing as that was released over a year ago. It really misses basic things that would make the phone much more user-friendly! I must write what I think very carefully now or Mr.Patchy will get upset......

C U all...
