Dont wait till 2050, it will be out in no time when all manufactures will start to mention something like 30 m water resistant just like wrist watches.
I am also very carefull with my phones but i guess i drop my phone once or twice in 6 months. I remember when i dropped it last time two months back, it has developed few black dots on top left corner of the screen. But it was self-healed. Now i have blemish free screen.

What are you talking about 2050 Check out some of the Docomo handsets.They've had waterproof phones for a while now.
