simple.. they release under-dogs and make money.. they release the 1.6 the 1.7, the 1.8... more money..
that is what SE is doing.. imagine if they released everything they hv now..
all their tech and secret models for the next 5yrs in one month..
not very good for business cuz then they r dry
better to hv a small running stream of water for 5yrs than a large one for a 5months

Speaking of polyphonic tones, fortunately there are still vendors who are following the industry standards. These vendors from Asia are not one of them.
I mean what's the point of having polyphony of 40 with non-standard format, when there's only few tones available for download. Service providers will concentrate on the industry standards and there are a lot, I mean A LOT, supply on that area.
