Can anyone say iPhone 4S?
Did Sony not learn anything from Samsung?
Maybe they wanna give Apple $1B...
It has some resemblances to iPhone, but as previous poster said, every phone has some similarities. Besides, iPhone is a copied product itself. Does anybody really believe that Apple "invented" it? Come on! Oh, and V has crappy chrome around the corners instead of aluminum.

I imported the Xperia S in March and now have the yellow spots on the screen and no warranty. I hate to spend $600 on a phone again and not have any warranty. I do travel a lot and I need good coverage. My charging port on the X10 broke so I got the S. Now i need an LTE phone.
I sure hope that Sony has something good for the US market or I might go with a different brand.
850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
UMTS:
850, 900, 2100 MHz
LTE:
850 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2600 MHz
It look like that even the LTE bands will not work on AT&T.

That would be because the phone's primarily designed for Eurasian and Latin American markets.

It sucks that the V will not be available in the US market.

You just don't get water resistance, 12MP camera with a dedicated shutter button.

aw man i didn't even think to double check the LTE bands. you are correct. LTE won't even work on AT&T. I guess that makes my decision a lot easier. Xperia T it is for me.
I feel your pain on the warranty issues. That's why I try to import from reputable online retailers, so I can return it to them at least for a refund or some kind or exchange. I won't ever import from ebay for something so pricey.
