Bingo!
it worked. But the funny thing is that I have tried this before and for some reason the file never appeared saved on my desktop..lol..oh well..finally got it..thanks t68i..
and thanks to the rest of the posters who helped out!

Did this too. First it didn't work, but removing the blanks at the end of each line fixed the problem. Thanks Guys!

It sounds like your windows explorer might be set to ignore known file extensions. Open Windows Explorer, and go to Tools >> Options >> View and uncheck the box that says "Hide file extensions for known file types". If that is already unckeched then when you save the file in notepad save it with double quotes around the name like "tune.imy". This will force notepad to discard the .txt extension
