I didn't bring my DSLR but i brought my trusty Nokia N900.
I found a small damselfly but it was gone in an instant.
When I was coming back 20mins later, I found a grasshopper couple.
But then I had a WTF moment, there was a Southern Skimmer perching!
Probably the same dragonfly from a couple of weeks ago.
But it wasn't in same place.
Back to the story, the dragonfly flew away but came back very fast.
As I needed to get so close (5cm) to get a decent shot, the dragonfly moved to all different sorts of perches.
In the end I spend 20 mins capturing a decent shot.
I'm happy with the photos
So don't forget to bring your phone when walking the dog!
PS my N900 overexposes all the pics and I cannot do nothing about it.
If I compensate it by underexposing, the viewfinder would instead go blank and I couldn't take a shot. It's corrupted. But I can control ISO at least.
Cheers!
