the SE source you refer to is written in
past tense. And guess what: If you read closely you will notice that the SE Presentation took place on 05 and 06 March
2002!! So it was the respective product presentation prior last years Cebit!
There's still no evidence for such an presentation this March on the SE press resources.

About the "P400" shown previously by RacingBoy:
I think it's fake as UIQ interface is made only for 208x320 or 240x320 screens. I'm not sure landscape mode is supported.

The press release annoucement in SE site might be last yr hehe but SE might do the same this yr.
Last yr they announce their 2002 line up before Cebit too......this might able them to build up the buzz before Cebit.

will never use 4xx or 5xx because of a chinees reason. and that looks more like the upcomming protable MPEG-4 player.

Yup, P400 is a total BS!
There won't choose any number starting with 4 (For 5 I donno why) as this force them to change the number in Chinese market...this happen to almost all the Siemens phone with number 4.

Most manufacturers had to do that, nokia as well. For 5 it's not true.
In chinese culture the number 4 represents bad luck or something...
