While I hope these are pre-production models and this will not be the case for retail units but then this is something sony has done in the past and I wouldn't put it past them for it to happen again.
Maybe it is just me and the low resolution of the images, but it appears almost as if the white version has thinner side bezels on the lcd versus the black version.
