This guy compares cameras of 1VIII against S26 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro Max and Pixel 10 Pro XL. If you are a fan of youtube comparisons check it out.

I wish they made two frames. One with 5G mmwave antenna and one without. Having that space on the side where the 5G mmwave antenna should be looks a bit ugly. it's a small nit picking thing.

i like the comparisons but sadly, they do not say how they took photos (i don't understand chinese so maybe i missed it). In all the comparisons, detail and sharpness looked good. xperia was either a bit over or under exposed. i think this is one of those things where it comes down to the user. all photos were very good though and i would be hard pressed to say one is definitively the best.

Gold phone...no.
I was very very close to buy the gold from Sony Sweden yesterday. Luckily I didn´t.

Today was the black 16GB/1TB SIM free available from Buyee Japan. Sold out from their first seller, but from the second they bought it successfully.
I paid Y300,200 including Buyee fee and insurance.

I bought from this:

You have to have a Buyee account.

Thanks, yes, I think I have an account. I'd like to know what shipping estimates they have (date). And where I can get the style cover. Sony is no longer present in Italy with smartphones, so I'll have to look abroad. But for now, I can only see the covers on official Sony stores.

In the order confirmation is the estimated delivery to Buyee set to June 15. And then they ship. Last year it took almost 4 weeks to receive my order, but it was stuck in Swedish customs for at least 2 weeks.

Have in mind that if it will be a warranty issue once you have the phone, I have no clue what to do.
Buyee buy from a seller, so who is responsible? In worst case you won´t have a working phone.

And you have to pay customs to import to Italy, at least I have to Sweden.

I won´t buy the style cover. I will buy Spigen armored case and their screen protector hopefully.

Warranty for xperia are local to the region you bought it because the model is region based. Unfortunately, that means you would have to make a warranty claim with Sony Japan and ship it back at your cost. While it's probably possible to do it, it is probably a pain in the butt. Especially if you cannot speak Japanese or know someone who does. For that reason alone, I will probably be waiting a bit to make sure there are no glaring issues like last year that required warranty replacement. Hopefully, I can order a 16/512GB model in July

Does Spigen sell cases in sweden already? I did not see any listing for one yet. The Sony style covers actually look pretty nice and seem similar to the spigen armored case. I'm also wondering if a screen protector is necessary because the screen is supposed to be GG Victus 2 and super durable. Of course, GG variants in the past were supposed to be super durable as well and I have managed to scratch those. I've always loved the spigen screen protector but they don't sell those in the US.

Guess I was lucky with my purchase last year. The phone just works fine since day one.

No, Spigen don´t sell yet as far as I know.
