@Fahed_2000 - dealers get their commision from orange after 3 months - the higher tariff you start on, the more they get - or they will get their basic plus the difference if you have moved to a higher tariff - if you downgrade, they can bill you for the difference in the RRP of the handset, as they lose a % of thier commision - which is used to subsidise the handset. & very cheap it is - there ya go

ok, so can someone make it very simple for us stupid people!?
If i buy a P800 for £34.99 on £40 a month tarrif, when can we change the tarrif down to a low cost one?
Also, i was thinking of buying one for just internet and email access (Keeping 7650 on o2 for voice and sms) is it possible to have a GPRS only tarrif? No voice?

Similar pricing to smalltalk at www.mobileshop.com . Got my R520 from there 18 months ago. Since there's not much to choose between them price-wise, I'll probably go with whomever gets stock first. Unless the new phones announced this coming Tuesday sound much better...

Just spoke to one the salespersons at OSPS and was told 'the stock was meant to come yesterday (i.e. 28/02/2003) but hasn't. It should be anytime this week.'
