@Bart
I have seen some fanatics in my day but you take the cigar..
You can take a bank loan and buy truckloads of SE phones if you like, it wonīt change the situation a bit.
Sony Ericsson isnīt the return of Messiah, and the earth IS round, not flat.. AND like it or not, Nokia will probably walk all over SE in the forseeable future. You go figure why, but itīs like buying Macintosh computers for all your money hoping they will get more popular than PCīs.. an excersise in futility.

SE & nokia are the same to me. they both make phones with bugs or defects. nokia caters to the mass market segment though and SE the tiny other segment. mass market+more profits=good for the company; other tiny segment+less profits=very bad for the company.

by the way sonyericsson is just as big as nokia as a mobile phone company, say what you please to my post, to me they concentrate on making good phones that are faults put to a minimum unlike nokia what the difference with nokia 8310 and 6510, to me they are the same outside and inside

Jeez.. another member of the flat earth society..
What do you think Nokia do? Concentrate on getting as many bugs as possible in their products?
Take a look around this forum and honestly tell me that the t68(i) is a rock solid bug free product!
All phones, regardless of label are mass produced shite to be honest. I canīt think of any manufacturer who constantly delivers premium products bug free from day one.. Read somewhere that Nokia had terrible problems with their 33** series with up to 25% faulty units. In the same article Siemens were shining brightly with the least percentage of returned units. Personally one of my most reliable phones was a 6210 (my son still has it and itīs still ticking along like an Omega watch)
Bottom line: ALL makers have problems with bugs and faulty units but i guess thereīs a reason that Nokia is the market leader, and i doubt that it is because everybody outside this forum are idiots..

The reason people buy one brand has nothing at all to do with quality or best features. It has to do with marketing. Nokia is very good at marketing it's phones, although they have inferior products compared to many of it competitors.
It has always been like that. Remeber VHS/Betmax, VHS didn't win because it was better, it was the opposite actaully. And well do I have to mention M$ Windows, which is another example of this.
