Used to hang when i played with num keys... the phone itself wouldn't just hang.. .it would wierdly reboot itself (flash white for 3 secs) and then come to the idle screen. That was with R2A.

But now with R6A it never hangs when playing ericsson, however once it did hang when moving a picture to my phone from the communicam.

Actually... I forgot to say to the guy complaining about the hanging while sending SMS's send them via GPRS... it goes sooo fast and for me in switz it's cheaper (somehow).

Menu -> Messages -> Options -> SMS access - or something similar

heres another "hang" scenario i have encountered!
put your phone beside a monitor or pc speaker then try to dial your phone, when it rings some signals interferes then monitor blinks and speaker shouts... try to answer, after answer a call cost screen appears, notice that call cost screen freezes!! then it hangs

Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable or get another sofware version where the phone doesn't always pop up with messages. Fx. after every call the phone tells me for how long I were talking. The message stays at the screen for about 5-10 seconds and it is very annoying. I understand that it takes time to open picture- and sms folders but I don't understand all the other pop ups.

Can anyone help please???

Hi everyone. I am a newbie here & quite frustrated with my T68i at the moment. What started as a screen problem is now a major headache for me. I bought my T68i a couple of months ago - Sent a friend to do it for me. I assumed that I would get my usual 1 year warranty so I didn't follow up on that (My mistake there). On the 3rd month my screen lights went off. Phone was ok but there was no light so I sent it back to the dealer but was duly informed that my phone had no warranty. I decided to take it to a repair shop. The fella managed to to replace the screen & it actually lights up but I am now facing major new problems. The phone hangs whenever the following occurs:
1. I receive an SMS
2. I try to access My Shortcuts
3. I try to access Bluetooth
4. Sometimes it just hangs
5. Whenever I try to access MMS

I have also noticed the following:
1. The battery life has reduced shockingly. I can't hold a full charge for a day while I used to be able to sustain a full charge for 3-4 days.
2. My joystick properties have changed. Whenever I push it to the right it opens a menu instead of browsing over it. And the right joystick does not work when I try to increase the volume etc.
3. Sometimes I get calls & cannot hear anything from the other end
4. Sometimes the phone just goes off
5. On some occassions I cannot make calls
6. Some of the keys don't work

I am facing so many problems now and this is really frustrating. A friend pointed me to this site & I will appreciate your help as my other alternative was to bin this phone & get another brand.
Thanks.

PS/Neat forum you got here. Will definitely be looking over it some more.

of course the phone hangs! and it will always do that. all cellphones with complicated programs hangs. from my nokia days to these new smartphones we use now.... they all hang. this is normal with complicated gadgets. our PCs hang too.

but if it does hang more than say 20-times a day.... then that is a problem. it should be returned for repairs.
