i like SE, and i like the t68, and that's exactly why i disagree with the idea of this topic- that SE are somehow holding out on us poor impoverished t68 users who deserve a free mophun upgrade. they aren't, and in any case, we don't.
this isn't even a new idea, or a new topic, or any new information; it's all been talked about umpteen times already, right here. just do a search for t68+java (or t68+mophun); there's nothing here that hasn't been said before.
beats me why people are getting so excited about it now, just as new phones are being released and the chances of any more upgrades to the t68 are precisely zero.

Firstly Mr Boinng my comments to you were tongue in cheek...
Secondly... yes its an old topic blah blah blah.... but ques is has anyone actually approached SE at the level we are trying to?? Thirdly supported or not, if the stuff is there AND WORKS is there any harm in asking for it???- besides who said we want it free as long as costs are reasonable??
I have to say regardless many and most people will upgrade anway but there's no harm in trying to see what can be done in the meantime for POOR people like me... with a name like Boinng you sound like one of the wealthy jet set so I'll tell you what, you buy me a new phone and I'll stop putting up annoying little posts... It makes sense if mophun was developed on the T68 and runs fine then why can't we have it... supported or otherwise?? If NOKIA can do its best to continue to support older handsets (where possible) in the arena of new SW and downloadable games... then can't SE do the same???.... NOKIA has not lost any customers on the upgrade front due to this, if anything it appears customers are very loyalty to the Nokia brand cos no matter the age (to some extent) of the handset, customers know Nokia will try to always give them new products.... besides SE can still make money out of it if they do it right cos not everyone upgrades straight away and regardless of the out come of this petition, it sounds like everyone will upgrade to the T610 anyway and bypass the T300 series altogether but not ALL can afford it right now..... in the mean time wheres the harm? .... so have a coke and a smile....

This thread is hilarious. Taigerr, please take the time to read this thread, actually do a search on these forums and the net about the topic, and listen to Boinng and the others on here who are simply stating THE TRUTH.
If you want to carry on being jaded and living in a fantasy world where Sony Ericsson enjoy carrying out bad business practices (they are after all a BUSINESS, out to make MONEY), then so be it, but don't start flaming random people with your "tongue-in-cheek" comments just for telling the truth.
