does this mean that pure audio encoded with Nero in MP4 will playback on a P800??? That would be cool!

they are not officaly out yet in australia ... i got mine through some ppl i know at sony and they got it in for me as i stated at the top ....

This seems a bit hard to belive, they aren't officially out anywhere in the world, and considering Australia normally gets stuff later it seems unlikely. I also rang Fox studios and Sony Styles head office, they said they have never seen a 128MB model and have no idea watsover on price.

The 64mb model here sells for $159 so $150 doesn't sound right for 128MB?? Don't suppose you wanna take a photo of the card and post it?

I tried encoding a mp3 file using the mp4 codec in the latest version of nero. Using 64 as bitrate I managed to squeeze in 30 mins of great quality music into my 16Mb. The only problem is that the files are recognized as video in the phone so they are only played in the video player=loads ofbuffering

use mp3pro, put the songs on using bitrate of 64 and they only take about a meg and a half per song with perfectly acceptable sound about 25 mins from 16meg mem stick with no buffering
