I've got 1026kb free on my T68i, without performing any 13 sec "trick".
I simply deleted all deletable ringtones, images, and themes using the menu.

tried the trick a month ago, although im sure what i did wasnt exactly 13secs long. but then i lost my predefined themes!!
and freed around 800+ kb! but now im back with 200+ kb again.

Try it again. After 12 sec, pull the batery. It worked for me a few seconds ago.
