What's the name of a good Swedish beer? Opps off topic, batteries batteries batteries, have no trouble charging, but have noticed that the stronger the signal the better the standby time.

When I'm at home, the reception bar on the T68 fluxtuates anywhere from 2-4 bars, but when I'm outside the bars are at max. Maybe being enclosed in a room is a bad thing... lol

Yepp that because the phone doesent need to "scream" to be heard by the RBS-antenna. Really interesting part of mobile comm, I think

Didn't know the names of any Swedish beers, so was just curious, I'll look out for them and see if I can find them in London, always like to try new things.

In contrary to what has been said, no battery leaves the factory "many times charged and discharged".

Lithium batteries right at the beginning are happy with one or two full long cycles (including 16 hours charging): That's needed for a chemical process inside the battery where a well-defined reaction occurs and covers the inside contacts, and that gives maximum capacity. (Dont' ask me more, I am not a chemist).

After these initial long cycles, lithium batteries prefer *flat* cycles. It is recommended to recharge the battery when it shows anything between 50 and 30 percent of residual capacity. You don't need a precision instrument to check this, a look at the symbol will suffice.

An overnight charging cycle does no harm, btw, my own T39 charging mostly happens overnight.

I dont understand it, my phone only says it has 200 hrs standby after a charge, and I usually have to charge it every other day. I'm sure I dont use it that much............

But maybe I do

How much is a replacement battery in the UK? Can you get ones with longer lives?
