Anyone know about some web store, which ships worldwide and where is 128 MS Duo on stock now?

I visited some shops and everywhere is 128 MS Duo out off stock or for preorder only.

OK, here's another US shop that has the 128 MB DUO in stock: www.ebuyer.com

The site mentions "Ordered on request (7days)" - I called them to ask what exactly that meant, and a friendly lady checked the supplier site and promised it would actually ship in 48 hours - I ordered two and they actually shipped within 24 hours. All that for $74, and they give you free FedEx Ground shipping within the US!

They have a UK store too (the .com site has a link to it) but they don't seem to have the duo - dunno what's up with that.

I'm so happy that I finally got them, quickly and cheaply... Good luck...

@microneo In order to get more space, you have to format with the PC when you format with the p800 you will lose some space for some reason.

This is what you should use :
// 16M DUO
FORMAT [drive letter]: /A:2048 /X

// 64-128M DUO
FORMAT [drive letter]: /A:4096 /X

you should then be able to see more space, this is especially good for 16meg duos....

@ nigelot1.

I too ordered a MS Duo 128MB from the Twister Group on 01/05/03. Almost immediately the order was "Processed", but no change in status for a whole week. Just spoke to them on the phone; the guy quite pleasantly explained that their warehouse doesn't handle international orders, and that international orders have to first be shipped to their office, and then on via USPS. He claimed that the duo had "just arrived, about an hour ago" into their office, and would be shipped today.

We'll have to wait and see.

Has anyone in the UK actually received any goods from the Twister Group??

I checked on ebuyer but didn't even see the duo there, do you have a direct link ? Concerning the twister group, their communication with me was great and Eugene (the sales guy) gave me a tracking number to follow, if you call him he'll probably do the same for you.

thanks alidick for your reply

I haven't cancelled my order beacause I really want the 128 duos.

An e-mail from them on Monday said they would be sent Wednesday which ties in with what you were told.

I will keep you posted as to what happens next

Ebuyer only has the 64MB duo listed but I called and was told they would have the 128 MB in on May 19.

Just wondering why ebuyer.com and so many other charge 40+ % extra, if you happen to live in Europe?
