I don't know about that, I have a fair few 200+ poly XG midi files. And they sound bloody fantastic.

That is what I actullay meant. My point was that one MIDI file can include more than 16 instruments. I wasn't talking about how many of those can be played simultaneously.

i Have a p800, T300, Sansung T100, and i have compared it with Nokias poly. Nokia has nice instruments, but let down by the 4 poly on some of the phones. The Samsung T100 has a nice loud sound with bass, but its instrument set is not that "accurate", and its midi processor doesnt seem to cope 100% with GS Midi. The P800 is loud, but not as good as the T100, but slightly better than the Nokia. The T300 has by far the best quality midi of any phone I have heard. Its reproduction is extremely faithfull (I have a Yamaha PSR290 synth, so i know), just a little on the quiet side. I assume the T610 to be at least as good as the T300 in sound quality.
