So the UK is one of the biggest mobile phone countries and still no t610. SE should think about where they release the phones first!

Yes - but that is a point. To release the phone in the UK, you need huge volumes .... they'd be looking at 200,000 + handsets. To release in Dubai (for example), you may only need 1000 ....

Well that is the price for Orange upgrade being quoted on etccomms.co.uk. It appears that the T610 will be available on Orange first in the UK so don't know what the situation will be with O2.
Have you considered porting your number to Orange? You would get the phone even cheaper as it would be a new contract and you could probably get a similar tariff to the one you are on now (under the Orange Value Promise scheme of copying competitor tariffs - although they don't copy o2 online unfortunately).

Just phoned them up, they changed the date of release to sometime in may. Previously they said this week or next. Don't know what that means. Hopefully that they're sorting out any bugs!

£115! I'm gonna upgrade too but i cant see you getting it at that price,where is this from??? Oh,and i heard it cud be July that Orange UK will get it now! :-( And upgrading on Orange is a £50 upgrade fee,after that they charge you by how much you spend each month on your bill (or s/thing like that). SE UK emailed me today and said no price till release! :-(
